Aromatherapy Lip Balm Vanilla (Bloom)

This is the best overall balm I have found!! It has great staying power, a wonderful vanilla flavor, and feels great on your lips! A great, pampering product. The only downfall is that it's in a pot so you have to stick your finger in there, and then wipe it off on your pocket. I highly recommend this balm!

Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline)

The clear color makes it a great neutral product, and its thickness is perfect for really chapped lips, bedtime, and for windy or cold days. This is always in my purse and at my bedside.

This was a big hit in elementary and middle school...and I just bought one today! It reminds me of my childhood and brings back happy memories of more carefree days. It has a great vanilla flavor, and is a nice neutral gloss.

Complete Moisture (Blistex)

This lip protectant has sunscreen and powerful moisturizers. There is a very pleasant cooling effect that makes your lips feel like beads of water are on them. The best balm for hot summer days!

Mint Bou Balm (Caribou Coffee)

Bou Balm has a great refreshing mint flavor. It's thicker than most balms so it stays on your lips longer. Perfect for post-coffee breath!

summer fruit organic lip balm smooth sphere (eos)

This uniquely designed product from eos (evolution of smooth) tastes great and lives up to its name: smooth! I like that it's 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben & petrolatum free. It contains vitamin E, shea butter, and jojoba oil. Your lips will thank you!

UltraSmooth rejuvenate (ChapStick)

This new balm contains vitamin D and antioxidants vitamin E & pumpkin seed oil. It goes on smooth and feels a little cool & tingly. I am not a fan of citrus-flavored balms (I didn't notice the flavor until after purchase), so I wish I would have picked either the other flavors of this pot gloss. You either need a germ-free finger to apply this, or you can apply it by rubbing the pot on your lips. Time will tell if the vitamins and antioxidants have a positive impact on my lips!

Strawberry lip balm (Chap Stick)

This was my first lip balm! As a child, I used this as blush, eye shadow, and lip balm. It has a nostalgic flavor, and is a great basic to have on hand.

It all began in fifth grade

It all began in fifth grade. A friend and classmate announced that I had really chapped lips. Taking criticism to heart, I bought some lip balm the next day and kept it safely tucked in my pocket for easy access. One lip balm turned into a second, turned into sitting down in college with a friend, logging over 200 lip product purchases. Thus begins a blog to highlight the best and worst ways to pamper your pout, from someone who doesn't go anywhere without a balm, a gloss, and a tiny pot of Vaseline.
